About Laura
Laura Harris, Ph.D., is a computational researcher, textbook author, educator, consultant, and quality systems professional whose work bridges biomedical science, bioinformatics, data analytics, technical education, and organizational quality. She earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, following undergraduate and graduate training in microbiology and cell and molecular biology at Michigan State University.
As Co-founder and CEO of Harris Analytics Institute, Laura leads HAI’s strategy, research, consulting, and educational initiatives. She is a PECB-certified ISO 9001 Lead Implementer and PECB Certified Trainer and previously served as Director of Training for Michigan State University’s Institute for Cyber-Enabled Research. Her work focuses on translating complex scientific, computational, and quality requirements into practical systems, reproducible analyses, effective training, and evidence-based decisions.

About Rob
Rob Harris leads HAI's technology development work, including device concepts, product development, and applied technical systems. His current work includes the ESD Risk Alert Device and future programmable beacon concepts.
As Chief Technology Officer, Rob focuses on turning practical technical problems into usable devices and systems that support safety, training, communication, and quality-aware implementation.
